Meaning of place

What else does it represent besides the places with names marked on the map?

The same place has changed over time. For example, in the past it might have been a factory, where workers worked, now it's a school, where students study. And in the future, it might be a gallery, or a government building. So, the fusion of time and space becomes a place of meaning.

Just as we are now, people are unable go to specific place. For example, many students unable to go to school because of COVID-19, online learning has become the primary place for everyone to learn. In this virtual space, people use technology to expand a space that has the same meaning as the classroom.

Just as people create a virtual space in the network, people also become virtual images and move in these virtual spaces. We cannot help but think about our relationship with space. In cyberspace, people are present, but in real physical space, people are absent. Dingyi and I  are both in China now. For the UK, we are absent, but for the exhibition, we are present.

Ding Yi and I invited some people to participate in the exhibition, either online or in the exhibition hall. By participating in the different ways to make the attendance card.
